The Art of Living in Season
The natural seasons are manifest all around us: in forest preserves that keep native plants and fauna alive, in ornamental gardens that we cultivate for beauty, in farmland and around the kitchen hearth. However, in a technologically advanced, fast-paced culture, it is all too easy to take them for granted. We do not take time to stop and stare – or care.
I am an ethnobotanical artist, a seasonal liturgist who attempts to remind people of the wonders of dwelling in one season at a time.
