The art of living in the season of Advent takes you on a four-week apprenticeship during which you will learn to become someone who knows how to wait joyfully for Christ, by yourself or with others, in everyday places and times. 

 

My story, like my book, starts in Provence, with the folk tradition of celebrating Jesus' nativity as if he was born in the lavender hills of 19th century southern France. These miniature manger scenes invite us to see ourselves, like the little clay figures in the French crèche, making ready for the arrival of Jesus in our own villages, or really, anywhere we happen to be. The art of living in Advent is all about learning how to welcome Jesus into our lives anywhere, anytime.
